"Promise of Night" is a tranquil painting that captures the hopeful promise that night brings. I have always viewed the seaside as a liminal space where the daunting expanse holds the promise of future things. I feel the same way about the warm, tender glow of the setting and the promise of what adventures the night might bring.
 
I take fine and contemporary art elements in this original artwork and attempt to blend them as the sun blends into the rolling waves. Hoping to capture that incredible sensation of good things to come.
